She walked onto a platform, the metal clanking under her feet. She ran the fingers on her left hand gently over the railing as she walled down an aisle. Pipes were making noises and there was some steam coming out of a few of them. She spotted a man and her lips turned into a soft smile. The man turned around, his face horribly burnt. One of his hands was covered with a glove with knives for fingers. The blades glinted in the dim light.
“Hi Freddy, I like your sweater,” Kaylee said simply, as if a child murderer wasn’t standing a few feet away.
“Here’s a present,” said Freddy, throwing her an earpiece. She caught it with her right hand and put it in her ear. Freddy began to cackle, his laugh echoing throughout the place as the earpiece came alive.
Kaylee screamed, the earpiece holding onto her ear with its insect-like arms. A part of it crawled into her ear, making her head throb. Th bug in her ear enhanced sounds to the point that it gave her a massive headache.
Freddy threw a big bucket of pins on the metal aisle. Kaylee started to bleed out of her ears and eyes, the sound too much for her to handle. Her head exploded into a million little pieces.
Kaylee spazzed awake, her hair matted to her face. She quickly searched her ear for the imaginary bug in her dream and sighed when she found nothing. She grabbed a pillow and slammed it down on her face.
“I watch too much Freddy Krueger….” she mumbled into the pillow.

Abandoned Disneyland in Beijing China.
It’s as if you hopped off of your flying elephant and walked straight into an apocalyptic wasteland, surrounded by scrubby grass, empty buildings, and the shell of a Magic Kingdom. This is the ghost of a Disney World-style amusement park in China, abandoned partway through construction, and now a hauntingly beautiful scene of decay.
